Naturally we believe the govt numbers... and Boobus Americanus sleepwalks off the edge of the energy-crisis cliff clutching his shares of "Crisco", Yoohoo and GooGah munching on his Yum Yums and Ho Hos. Future historians will have a hell of a time figuring out what the hell Americanus neanderthalus was thinking and exactly what brought on his sudden demise... - Henny Penny
Well, good night everyone. I gotta go lube up for tomorrow's regular end-of-week Gold Slapdown and Stock Index Bear Punishment Rally Weekend Greenprint. ...Probably another Shock-and-Awe Gap-Up-Open and Wire-to-Wire Meltup Runaway Bull Charge Mo-Mo Spike to Fresh New All-Time Lifetime Highs, culminating in a 4:15 yelping scalded dog runoff with panic short-covering and legal not-held bad double fills due to fast market conditions, plus quote system freeze-ups and trading platform lock-outs along the way. *yawn* typical gov't Friday. - Shorty

not surprised, really, but they were plugging his spot up until around 5:37. wouldn't they have had a pretty good idea beforehand about what he was going to say?
Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the Matrix. You are the eventuality of an internal anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts, I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.
You haven't answered my question.
Quite right. Interesting. That was quicker than the others.

Too funny, this is what I said on Intraday today:
Quote
"and then a terrible, terrible, first quarter"
If they (Crapvision) do I'll sit there with the same amusing cynicism as a farmer watching his hogs eat.
The interview was too real and scarey for them. They're coaching him on how to sugar-coat his forecast before coming on.

This evening Arch Crawford was scheduled as a guest on Crapvision. At the last minute, he was mysteriously pulled off the air due to "technical difficulties." Arch of course is forecasting that the market is headed into the abyss. A little too strong for the viewers of Crapvision? Doc provides some juicy tidbits.
In addition, this is it. What you have been wafting for! Doc's predilections and preconceived notions for 2003, which of course, he will probably be forced to disavow and deny later. But, as he did last year, Doc took a look through his trusty, high powered, Bell and Howell stock proctoscope, and lo and behold, he saw the market coming down. Yes sir, a real stinker is coming our way.
But first, the usual road kill rundown, including intraday, short term, and intermediate outlook, as well as hot pictures of naked stock charts, Uncle Buck and the Golden Stool, stoolies, log in. If you're not a stoolie already, become one Now! Click the link below.

wooooo hoooooo!! A compilation of gems to laugh over. I can hardly wait.
Arch? Too bearish? Nahhhh!
I look forward to the day we can see our good Dr. Stool on Crapvision at a round table with Ike, Doug Noland, Tice and Arch.
Naturally of course the only possibility that this could occur would unfortunately be at either an exreme Dover Sole if the distribution pimps want John Q to sell so they can buy it up, or at a rally top with a bit of strength and the distribution pimps have offloaded their allotment and are fully short.
Bear guests, if we ever get to see a real one on Crapvision, should be aware that replay clips could also be edited to suit their stance. If our good Doctor Stool were on Crapvision tape saying, say, the 10-13 week cycle down-phase is almost at an end and a rally may ensue at any time, Crapvision of course would edit out the description of the weakness of the possible up-phase of the new cycle and a wild plunge to new lows.
A bear guest would have to phrase his sentences in such a manner that their message is clear in every sound bite. If a bear rally was due one would have to phrase it as such.
I'm going to email Crapvision and complain of the lack of technical alalysis on their program. I mean Tex Tansey doing TA ONLY for bullish patterns is ridiculous. Don't even get me started on Boobinger. Around October 20 Poobonger was on with a chart showing how earnings finally seemed to exceed expectations slightly and pointed to a new uprising trend in his chart. Nobody was telling the "viewers" how analcysts lowered the earnings bar so much that an uptick was inevitable. This is like an Olympic high jumper trying for seven feet and when he fails he lowers it to 6 feet, 5 feet, 4 feet, 3 feet, 2 feet, and then it suddenly dawns on the "athlete" or analcyst that perhaps he should entered the Special Olympics instead. What's next? The Paralympics?
Special Olympic and Paralympic athletes have my highest respect but analcysts? Give 'em a Double Flush!!! LOL. Poobonger is an asshole who went long for the rally and and a month later he reversed his bullish stance and seemed flat or short from what I recall. He may have some good timing every now and then but his willingness to mislead John Q is disgusting.
