MrHanky Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Only treasuries are holding together, everything else is becoming damaged goods. Will we get some forced selling and margin calls instead of a visit from santa? Stay tuned......
DrStool Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 In case you missed it on the daily thread- Minyanville Interview With Lee Adler: What to Expect From Treasuries, Central Banks, Politics in 2012
bundys_dodge Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Doc - I read the interview. I like the way you curb your enthusiasm in calling for a rise in Treasury yields (a macro call?) with an eye on the charts and TA.
bundys_dodge Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 And you can judge a man by the Plaid shirt that he is wearing
Jimi Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Ha! I thought the place was pronounced "Miny-Anvil" all these years. Nice interview. I'm hoping for another surge into treasuries before any turn in yields.
quanta Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 In case you missed it on the daily thread- Minyanville Interview With Lee Adler: What to Expect From Treasuries, Central Banks, Politics in 2012 No need to apologize for the Pygmys. Why just the other day, J*7256Co*z*, the tribal leader in another village, was stomped flat by an elephant because he was so SURE it would turn the other way. Grand Poopercycle Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Nice interview, but-have you thought about a new hairstyle recently?
DrStool Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 And you can judge a man by the Plaid shirt that he is wearing How's that work exactly?
DrStool Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Nice interview, but-have you thought about a new hairstyle recently? It was the shampoo. At my age (61), change doesn't come easily. It's the same hairstyle I had at 16, only there's a lot less of it.
rdkyote Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I thought you said you were so nervous you thought you had Tourette's. you looked perfectly calm to me.
DrStool Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I was nervous as shit. Extremely. Next time, if there is one, I hope I can be a little calmer. They edited out the worst parts. I definitely have stage fright. I need to write my BS, not talk it.
bundys_dodge Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 There is a sudden rush of gloom and doom news about China in the MSM and more than the usual gloom and doom in the blogosphere. Is China softening up the Amerikans for Yuan devaluation...
cwd Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 In case you missed it on the daily thread- Minyanville Interview With Lee Adler: What to Expect From Treasuries, Central Banks, Politics in 2012 Doc, you talk like a man moving into the big time. As we all standby waiting to make the big killing, what can go wrong if if we are correct in our analysis? I think I just saw it on c-spam. Don Jon Corzine isn't the only shark out there, and I feel confident that the bunch of Inpector Clouseaus won't do any thing except say we knew nothing. Don't forget counterparty risk.
