Wasn't the CEO of this company recently on CrapView spouting IT spending as far as the eye can see? I was tempted to go long the stock near the top, based on his glowing views. However, its no different than calling a hooker from RussianEscorts.com, paying top dollar for a hotel room, then finding out that she's a no show. AEIS, BRKS, TER, and all the rest are broken stocks. Watch AMAT, stuck in the mud. SOX isn't going anywhere unless that pig catches a bid... BDK implied that the markets move with the SOX and yet he remained stubbornly long even though the SOX took a beating for three days prior to today which says to me he stays long regardless of what the SOX does. It's a long, long ways to his implied late May, and he may be proven right. I can't recall Brian being long the spoos since I have watched him in action, but that may not be right. RE: the "elimination" of politicians. Doc is a bit sensitive to some of my terminology, so henceforth politicians will not be killed (shot, hung, electrocuted or bbq'd) or "eliminated" but instead isolated away from society on one of the barren rock islands of the Aleutian chain where they may think long and hard about their transgressions while trying hard not to look like a Polar Bear's favorite meal. Butterfield 8 Posted April 19, 2004 Report Share Posted April 19, 2004 Supreme court rules in favor of Texas Republicans (surprise surprise)on redistricting, meaning the Republican majority in the House will now be HUGE. The new and improved districts are barely connected at all and look like an assortment of Mark's zoo animals. The law says they must be "contiguous" but I guess the Supremes didn't like that law so they changed it. I have NO problem with that save to say that April 28-29th might just be the high and we get a retest of that high in late May. For da record, right or wrong, I went long the spoos today and have been long the Nazzie 100 via Rydex for three days. We still did not close above the median daily BB (1136+) But with the naz 100's strength today I would consider tomorrow to be the day. Gotta calls it the way I see it. Yo Bobby was/is right I haven't been long in months over 1144 I could be. I don't think we get there. Now TE is long but he can and would change on a dime he is a VERY adept Trader-this is interesting right here-the next session or two should provide the truth-I smelleth a BIG move coming and I think down is the direction. Doc-I gotta defend both Soup and BDK - both are respected here and BDK gives as well as he takes-digs sure but nothing malicious-they have come close but have stayed in bounds.
