Thales Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 If I could prognosticate a little: My crystal ball is telling me that either one of two scenarios is getting ready to unfold... (disclaimer 1: my crystal ball is terrible on timing) Scenario 1: We have seen a short term top in the SPX and should soon retrace to(most likely) the 61.8 fib on this last leg. Scenario 2: We are beginning the next leg down on the clusterf*** to pennistock status. I'm somewhat biased to Scenario two. But then again I'm a perma bear(I'm trying to work on that)... Anywhoooo: Disclaimer 2. Crystal ball is correct 92% of the time. Additionally 87% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
K Wave Rider Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Crude rejected at century mark back test, while ES looks real tired after battle at 1310 area... today probably bears best shot at launching a tide turning attack...
I_Am_Madness Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Looking good. Holding shorts: YM (1276) ES (1310.25) Trade safe.
K Wave Rider Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Just had a chance to read yesterday's thread...wow...that has to be just about the most bullish I have ever seen it here...save one lone hungover voice....
K Wave Rider Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 10 yr still holding that key 130 area... If bears fail to turn the tide on ES today, and TY were to gash bust 130, then bears might have a real problem on their hands, but as long as yesterday's highs hold, and TY holds 130, bears have a shot at launching surprise attack. NYA still right in the sweet spot for a major IT turn downside, on the time frame of larger degree scenario I have referenced before. But bears are definitely running short on time now to git er dun
DrStool Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Market Completes False Upside Breakout
gameover Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 ES playing out to script decling to the 10dma near 1300. It may see 1298, but expect a bullish spring off the 10dma going into obama's sotu and fomc nonsense tomorrow
I_Am_Madness Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 ES playing out to script decling to the 10dma near 1300. It may see 1298, but expect a bullish spring off the 10dma going into obama's sotu and fomc nonsense tomorrow Not even going to try to get too cute here and trade after a potential big payday. I hold all short and see. My guess is the big payday is next week. Trade safe.
gameover Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Watching 129 25 on TY closely, a clean break would be good for a quick point decline and have ES breakout above 1317
gameover Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 60min ES charts Dover Sole. Daily bull flag into 10dma Get ready for blastoff
