aussiebear Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Yahoo charts not working AGAIN but for the early openers it's Kiwis -0.5%, Aussies +1.1%, Nikkers +0.5% and Taiwan +0.3%. Looking fairly bullish for the Aussies with Consumer Discretionary and Financials out in front, both +1.4% and Telecomms is the only red, -1.1%.

DrStool Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 This morning's Precious Metals update will be delayed. It appears that the service from which the data is collected has either removed its data from yesterday or changed its configuration without notice and my data robot is unable to collect the usual end of day prices. All of the data collected last night has been lost. I regret the disruption. Please stay tuned for further updates.
DrStool Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I would just add the following. FOCK
Brick Stoolhouse Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 from a veteran floor trader: Doomsdayers Are Not Cynical Enough http://www.rickackerman.com/2010/09/doomsdayers-are-not-cynical-enough/#more-25809 Good article. That guys cynical enough where he should post here.
DrStool Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 UPDATE- This may be an exchange wide issue. I am finding that other, alternative data download sources are also missing yesterday's data. Please stand by.
DrStool Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 OK. The problem has been solved. As it turns out, all of the services had the wrong data because today is September 9, not September 10. The problem was that I wanted it to be September 10. Therefore, when I only had data for September 8, I freaked and started uninstalling and reinstalling all my software. I am an idiot. I think God is punishing me for working on Rosh Hashanah.
Takachi Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Question is: Will He punish the mkt for being open on Rosh Hashanah? Lets hope so. This is right where I see the dive coming.
