I have reached my breaking point even watching this crap....

Gotta be topping

Yesterday I was reading an article about the "squatter stimulus" and found myself thinking, "hell, the Soviet Union lasted for 70 years and we're a lot richer than they were, who knows how long we can sustain full-on communism?"

I seem to remember similar thoughts in 2006 around the time the GaveKal "bully wealth platform" article came out.

As Lee Whee used to remind us, in the U.S. we only socialize losses, never profits. That limits us quite a bit. I don't know if there are any other countries that do this dumb thing. We are a bright people in the U.S. in many ways, but more & more I see evidence that we are socially & politically retarded.

why is there so much resolute bearishness here when doc is bullish??

Because it's only bullish, till it's not. The VIX in the toilet and the risk /reward sucks.Obviously we can keep grinding higher but you gotta be good not to get caught in the turn.

Like TJ said,it's a stock pickers market at these levels.Buying the index could be a really big mistake.Like we saw in january,a few months gains can be wiped out in 3 or 4 trading days.

Complacentcy abounds....

RMIX - new low....

- Sirius XM (SIRI) gets a delisting notice from Nasdaq. “An ominous threat, but one not likely to be carried out,” Digital Daily blogger John Paczkowski says, noting Sirius is appealing the notice and seeking an extension from Nasdaq. “Frankly, with over 3.7 billion shares outstanding, there’s little reason to fear Sirius will be booted from Nasdaq.”
