.spx drops 20 points... back to just below the last high pivot... everybody get doubtful, VIX starts going up, rally can't break recent high, VIX goes up more, January starts and the VIX keeps going up and everyone gets really worried and starts selling; but to whom. Xmas was a bust.

Anyone wants to comment on what the Fed will do and what the statement would be ?

My uneducated guess is they raise as expected but signal that they are done for now.

hard down initially, hard up because they'll say its priced in, then hard down again when the smart money, and fureigners, hairy bears etc.. take advantage of the up to sell into..

T-bone goes into spasms immediately following the Easy Al's mumbling
and then closes nearly unchanged.
SPX down slightly today only to get the "confirmation rally" tomorrow.
