I_Am_Madness Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Nice to see some strength on the miners with Gold and Silver getting murdered. No change on my miners. Not time to go long yet on the majors. Stay nimble, stay safe. Short tech continues to be the way to play this.
Trader Joe Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 For tomorrows M2M we need a poll for the FaceShit IPO high on day for Friday I guess ranges would suffice $40-60 $61-80 $81-100 >$100 Or something to that effect Personally, I'm guessing $76 with a chance of tagging "a hundo" Should it tag $100 on an intra-day basis, that dinging in you ears is the bell ringing to short the living f**k out of the nasdaq ...oh, and Apple will be sub $500 in no time....afterwards, next stop $450....could be a buy then, for those so inclined

Not time to go long yet on the majors. Stay nimble, stay safe. Short tech continues to be the way to play this. I await the divergence when gold is smacked another 2% in a plummet and gdx says who cares. That would provide TJ's 14xx handle on gold. It may happen overnite in Asia only. Is it the major miners not to be long yet? This is reminding me of summer of 2008 when the miners were the canary in the mine as Doc described the choking off of liquidity. They peeked on LTRO day 2-29 and are leading the way down. I'm wondering when poor ol' Jim gets a TNX smackdown where somebody hits every bid out there down to whatever like on 11-10-11.
Trader Joe Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Here comes that good 'ol drunk known as JNK to the party Wait til they start liquidating the underlying to meet redemption's Wheeeeeee! Ping me at $35/36 Maybe I'll nibble then
Jimi Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Curious about something. And thinking like a criminal.... If The Them can prop shares of stuff, or hammer it when seeking acquisition, can't we entertain the notion that the sell-off in gold/miners is actually being manufactured to scare retail newcomers into unloading positions to fat-pocketed insiders, who know on their end that the fundamentals for gold/silver/miners are setting up for a large advance?
bundys_dodge Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Goldman's lawyer inadvertently(?) files document without redactions. It doesn’t happen often, but sometimes God smiles on us. Last week, he smiled on investigative reporters everywhere, when the lawyers for Goldman, Sachs slipped on one whopper of a legal banana peel, inadvertently delivering some of the bank’s darker secrets into the hands of the public. MrHanky Posted May 16, 2012 Author Report Posted May 16, 2012 Again,I am still stunned that we have no 2% down days since thanksgiving week I think....it's got to be some kind of record....

They're desperate enough to make up these space mining stories on MSM: http://www.bloomberg.com/video/92812303/ So why not?

I've been thinking the same thing.
