The financial markets appear to be like a tremendous machine. The mechanisms and institutions have been honed to perfection over several cycles and 3 decades. Each new cycle requires new or additional engines of liquidity or new ways to steer liquidity to the markets with each stumble but they have found ones again, the Fed and Treasury.

The oddity of this year, and the hook, was that the Feb collapse and on into the early March low said that the machine was broken for good. In Feb after all we knew QE and accounting forbearance were done deals but still the markets cratered.

In the end the mechanisms and institutions which steer liquidity are still concentrated here in the US, since they have been saved, I am expecting all efforts will be made to steer liquidity to our financial assets. Filling the void that the Fed seems ready to leave.

War is the last great hope of the incompetent to order the unwilling to attempt the impossible.

Housing Reamcovery Fails to Bolster Borker Conmissions

Dec. 29 (Bloomberg) -- A surge in house purchases by first-time U.S. home owers is doing little to help ream estate agents and borkers who close the deals.

Conmissions in 2009 fell to the lowest level in seven years, driven down by sales of low-priced trashed foreclosures to first-time home owers using the federal tax credit.

Conmissions earned by ream estate agents typically are computed as a percentage of a property’s fraudulent inflated appraisal. Reamtors negotiate with sellers to set the rate and are required to kickback a portion of it to the borkery they work for.

and

Dear Ags Nightmare:

of course all that you report is Valid and on the surface, insane. But, note again, we have to look beneath the surface, to the level of Expectations.

Expectations are always grounded in what your jickiss calls "Contracts."

There used to be a Social Contract in the USA. It was Broadly Applied.

What has happened, however, is that the Broad Social Contract has shrunk, being shrunk as there are no longer sufficient resources to "Great Society Re-Distribute to all the Needy) as the Specific Written (and thought to be Sacred and Un-Breakable) Contracts have grown and grown and grown.

you know the list of the usual suspects, and BELIEVE IT OR NOT, (but prove it to yourself by asking a Teacher or Cop if THEY want to ever take Less Money or Benefits, and see their Reaction, watch their Eyes) these following are Deadly Serious about giving back exactly -0- (Zer0):

Public Employees
Teachers
Cops
Fire
Political adjuncts (in NJ, for eg, many private Boards are actually members of the State Pension System)
Washington ABCs
court systems of cj and cj
Military

etc

NOT UNTIL ACTUAL ROLL BACKS IN THE SO CALLED SACRED CONTRACTS OF THE ABOVE, SACRED WITH RESPECT TO SALARY, RETIREMENT, HEALTH CARE AND VARIOUS BENEs

are justly Rolled Back to below what them that actually produce goods, take place

will there be NO chance of Capital Being Safe in the USA.

with Capital being Unsafe, no incremental Investments will get made (ok, Apoole "invents" a stone tablet compuker, but it gets made in China, or wherever....) that can produce new wealth to bail out the system.

as a result, since the above is just true, (being based on the reality that only capital investment can create real wealth) the controlled F-News is just prepping da Sheeple for the

Coming Printing of Massive Amounts of Stimulus Money, from here to Eternity!

Them (on F-TV) are merely doing what they are told to do.

Prepping. Prepping da Sheeple for the Hyper Inflation.

Watch IBM.

IBM's Share Price will be the Key Indicator to Watch in 2010.

"WE have the United States.....Every body else is just a Visitor"

Thimk!

ps If you thimk that there will be a Debt Liquidating Depression, well, where is the evidence so far?
The Very Best Singular Example that your jickiss can offer is, in fact, the Year 2009. IF there was going to be a Debt Liquidating Depression,
then, in 2009, F would have gone to -0-

Gold to $1,650

and them that had Cash and Gold and Miners and Miners Related would be Very Happy Tonight,
as
for instance,

Real Property and Cars would be on sale for maybe 20 cents on the Dollar as thousands of Public Suctors were Fired for the reason that there is no money to pay them tonight at the State Level.

This would have been Fair and Just.

But, instead, the Opposite has been Engineered to happen.

watch IBM s share price for the Clue

best regards!

jickiss!!!!!!!

Jick,

The GF and I had two beach houses for several years that we sold in Sept 2006 on beautiful LBI, well, until the guidos from NY infiltrated it and ruined the place. "Yo, Antanee"

But that thought would go through my mind -- not so much the long term bye bye, which is inevitable but may be 50, 100, 200 years away?......but a catastrophic flood like back in the '60's (I think) that totally covered the island

Regardless, beach front is only good if you are say 85 or older and have a second place on higher ground....like the CO Rockies....at 85 who cares if the beach house get's washed out to sea
