Bungster Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Op/ex games come to a close, more volume spikes out of the blue to ram shorts right to the finish. I read today that we were not the usual TRIPLE witching but QUAD witching! And FINALLY it seems that MAX PAIN worked out...
capitall Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 I read today that we were not the usual TRIPLE witching but QUAD witching! And FINALLY it seems that MAX PAIN worked out... Yeah, sometimes it works. One certainly couldn't trade off of that one indicator alone. You would have won big using it this month. But would have lost your shirt, pants, and shoes doing it in August.
Dopamine Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 I have number of indicators giving me sell signals right now. But there is a chance this first sell off gets bought and we make marginal new highs around Wednesday.....with divergences being even more pronounced. Regardless, the direction right now is down. JonLaw Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 at least we know one thing is certain - "The current mail system of the United States is 'no longer financially sustainable." That makes USPS an easy money short. Even easier than NFLX.

Trader Joe Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 Anyone playing AMZN's parabolic move? http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=AMZN&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p09969202776 Not going into the holiday season...maybe after Truth is I don't short stocks, and put options on things like NutFux and Amazon are too expensive to mess around with So I'll stick with what I know, low risk income generating pussy trades, and make a little dough Consistently, month in-month out, year after year
Trader Joe Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 Banks like UBS (and SocGen, Barrings, etc before them)can't track fraudulent trading activity that had been going on since 2008... ...and yet, somehow inveshtors are expected to believe the financial statements of these incompetent dolts? Give me a break Bankers -- Kill'em All
Trader Joe Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 Market has a good week... ...and Mish's rapid-fire "end of the world" posting diminishes with the addition of every 100 Dow points and then comes to an abrupt stop Now that's correlation I believe in!
Trader Joe Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 Wow! What a week. I rocked it like Hanky -- not one losing trade. Nice.
