Guest sigmoidoscope Posted August 21, 2003 Report Posted August 21, 2003 Keeping putting this on this until the banks have spread their derivatives risk to mom and pop, and fattened their balance sheets enough so that they can buy all the mortgages in the US for ten cents on the dollar next year. This way you don't need to vote on any bailouts, and the folks won't say anything and risk losing their homes. "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around (the banks) . . . will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." Thomas Jefferson
