Yoshaviah Posted April 9, 2003 Author Report Posted April 9, 2003 Maybe nothing because it is a weekly chart and the crossover might be gone by the end of the week. On the other hand it could have some predictive value even though it is a lagging indicator. I was looking at the previous crossovers and noticed how they preceeded a decline.

Yosh, since you're using a 14-period ADX (and other indicators with the same period), you ought to be using a 14-period Aroon too. Also, since this is a weekly chart, 52-week and 208-week MAs are probably more appropriate than 50- and 200-week ones: Regards, Vesselin

I said to myself, "self, you know Bont is gonna have something to say about this chart and that's OK 'cause Bont is the expert in these matters." And then myself said to me, "self, you know it's the Fed's job to confound the experts." To which I replied, "self, will they succeed?" So let's give it 'till the rest of the week or next week too and see what happens.
