Unfortunately, there are no publically trade law firms specializing in corporate bankruptcy and security class action litigation. If there were, I would have loaded their shares up 2.5 years ago. Bird D Curr, if I were you and I were for gold rush (as dot.comers did in 1999), I would prepare to take my firm to public in next several month.

Funny, I am thinking of switching careers and going to lawskool. It would take four years of night school, but there may be thirty years of customers on the other side!

Screw ALL the lawyers! Throw them into the sea! The last two contracts I performed for LAWYERS on their houses each resulted in the LAWYER trying [but not succeeding] to screw me out of my money! Nothing but a nightmare for the little guy like me trying to get paid for master craftsmanship! In each case I had to register a builder's lien on the property, good for 1-year, and sit back and wait for them to crapitulate, especially so knowing one was a spec home, and one was due for refinancing with the cheaper interest rates. Didn't even bother filing court papers for the actual fight in court, just left it as builder's lien, which cost me all of 5 bucks to initiate and stands for 1 year.
Bastard LAWYERS will try and screw the little guy every time. Show me ONE lawyer that doesn't have a fistful of mumbo-jumbo up their sleeve!
In both cases I got paid in full, plus exhorbitant interest and a "piss me off fee". Obviously they were more desperate to get the lien off their property, [probably in a rush to capitalize on some structured finance modern miracle] than I was to get paid.
I hope they learned something out of it all so they don't try and screw the next little guy.

Hey, Machine! Ya, I annoyed Doc testing a new chart, which is so so, needs refinement. I never saw the posts and PM he sent me, which were very polite, so by failing to respond I sort of got sent to the dog house for a while. I never read any of the forum and missed his requests and warnings. OOPS! I'll make sure that doesn't happen again.

From a retail standpoint, the two worst customers on the planet are lawyers and doctors. They both charge exorbitant fees and most seem to act as if everyone else is subservient to them. Your time is worthless while their time is invaluable. They know the value of everthing they buy, and yet you should never dare question their value. I don't encourage their trade.

Not all lawyers or doctors are without morals. There are plenty of people out to screw the "other guy" every day, for almost any reason. For example, I lost my last contract IT position because a full time employee at a rather large and prestigious educational institution decided that he did not like me. As a result I have lost $30,000 of income over the last six months.
Doctors and lawyers have pricing power because their skill is specialized and the barrier to entry is high. The barrier to entry for most IT jobs is (or was) low, therefore there are a great many low priced and low skilled IT people out there right now. The whole industry is screwed.

As for Mr. Goldmember.................
Not all lawyers are bad people.......................Remember it is the laws created by elected officials that allow lawyers to take what ever side of the fence they choose....................Reform needs to start in the legislatures................In order to cut off the hand that feeds the lawyers.....................
