Guest Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 The collapse of the trannies has been inevitable since mid-May. See $BPTRAN (or the last chart there). Regards, Vesselin

Slothrop Posted July 19, 2003 Report Posted July 19, 2003 Fascinating. Solid short term signal...but what about the intermediate term?
Chart Guru Doug Posted July 20, 2003 Author Report Posted July 20, 2003 Fascinating. Solid short term signal...but what about the intermediate term? Would have to be flexible on this when it starts to trend. If the market starts to sell off this would trip buy after buy so its important to use other anlalysis with it and stops of course. For now it works nice in a sideways market. If some major support gets broken then a trader could adjust for that.
Chart Guru Doug Posted July 21, 2003 Author Report Posted July 21, 2003 This one is for giggles a little bit. I try to corner e-wavers to be a bit more specific with their calls.
Slothrop Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Preferred count: your 1 is an A. Your 2 is a B. Then there's a 1-2-3-4-5 where the 5 is also a C. The difference is significant. Your count, a possible "alternative count," would tend to indicate the beginning of an extended uptrend, following the A-B-C correction. My count is a terminal pattern, meaning the index falls all the way back to the beginning of the pattern...before we get an indication of the next move.
Chart Guru Doug Posted July 22, 2003 Author Report Posted July 22, 2003 Hey Sloth I would probably do better surfing waves huh? here are some follow ups of junk bond funds. There was a lot of hoopla about get long on em some time back but I thought they looked pretty risky. I have soooo many people tell me not to trade with preconceived notions such as targets but I just have to much faith in my charts. I have not added new comments, only left the old ones. The charts were right again.
