Long live the king, the king is dead. Every reign of monopolistic terror comes to an end. What the federal judges fail to do, the market will take care of.
Again, here's another "one decision stock" that institutions are so loaded with, your retirement is now in jeopardy. There is no excuse for the kind of analytical stool being spewed out of the Wall Street pipeline. Buy and hold, yadda, yadda. Folks, this is not new. We have been through this before, and before that, and before that. Thirty years ago the analysts said the same things about Polaroid, Xerox, Kodak, et. al. And they were only half as overhyped as the "New Economy" stocks. Criminy, wasn't anyone in this market born before 1968.
How in the world can it be news that stocks go down? Did you know that the 1920's were called the "New Era Economy?" Sound familiar? This is a bear market, a big one, and it's not going to let us forget for a long, long time. For heaven's sakes stop listening to those 31 year old guys on TV calling bottoms. They were dead wrong at the top, and they are still dead wrong. Dr. Stool, the stock market proctologist, knows bottoms, and this ain't no bottom.
Where's the bottom? Say it with me now, "We don't know, and neither do they." The talking heads all seem to think they're going to ring a "capitulation bell" at the bottom. One thing's for sure, when this market hits bottom, the public will have become so disgusted with stocks, they won't even care, or be paying attention any more. That's the real meaning of capitulation.
