Doc, I watched Chris Locke on Crapvision-Europe again this morning. He uses both cycles and Elliott Waves (for instance, he predicts a low in the broad markets in March and another, much lower low in July-September - just like you).

 

It's really funny to see how the strong contradiction between the two techniques on gold affects him. He's so uncertain when asked about gold. First, he'd say "don't chace performance, gold is overextended and close to a top". Then he'd add "gold is in a bull market, buy the dips". :grin:

 

He showed no such uncertainity about the broad indexes where the two techniques agree about the direction (DOWN).
