bearvest Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 XAU: Looking like an impulse down on the 60 minute. An overlap of 95.21 would confirm it. Monday's sharp spike took the index to the 50% fib level, so it could be a completed wave 4--but 4's are complex and this one seems too short and simple. Mind the gap. Mid-gap is where the 61.8% retracement level resides. If 4 is not complete, the gap should prove to be resistance. Edit: It doesn't change the count, but black wave 1 should be moved to the right by 2 days.
Old Habits Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Also, I think silver will soon move significantly higher, regarless of what gold does. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hope ur right cause I don't have a clue. If this is THE rally, it sure should otherwise we got troubles I suspect. LUCK ALL.
bearvest Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Further COT commentary. Focus on the spec's not the commercial traders. http://yahoo.reuters.com/financeQuoteCompa...22546638_newsml

I love your conviction ... I feel the power that goes with ordaining the future.. You have "the force" right now my friend. I salute you regardless of what Gold does in the next 3 days.

Old Habits Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Further COT commentary. Focus on the spec's not the commercial traders. http://yahoo.reuters.com/financeQuoteCompa...22546638_newsml <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Here's another story that paints a negative picture for the miners. http://www.marketwatch.com/news/yhoo/story...57C468C2D1B7%7D He says insiders are selling but gives no figures or specifics. Does it seem a little funny that these folks are working so hard to talk down the price of the metals? What do I know, I'm a conspiracy theorist. So far it's working though, down goes silver, gold next - FUDGE.
Old Habits Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 So, another higher open in the HUI and XAU..... The pressure has definitely been turned up a notch for Mr. Mojo.
Guest Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 sure hope ander is correct. still think we correct to 94.8 at least. all in all the market is holding up well. i do expect, like ander, an upside surprise soon. dharma

Charmin Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Feargreed dude..still sees... 94.50 area first.. http://www.feargreed.com/showgraph2.php
Charmin Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I'd rather see HMY spring back above the 8.40 area with some conviction....
Charmin Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 silver at the lows and gold up a tad.... waiting for silver specs.... above 6.80 area ...here would be fine....
Charmin Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 HMY trend.. with small trading range support of 8.40 broken http://www.StockSharePublishing.com/ChartL..._1124814475.png
Charmin Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 silver weak.. 7 then 6.91 then 6.85 aden sisters....you better start holding it up above 6.80
Old Habits Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Watching the four horsemen - NEM,GG,GLG and RGLD - so far they are looking good. If they hang tough, we go higher. As for the weak sister silver, that's another "impossible to predict" commodity. Sinclair addresses it on one of his PDF files. He says something like "it puts the bulls to sleep so they give up, then shoots up to $14". Don't quote me, but it is something to that effect. Would love to see a higher close.
