Theoretically, the horizontal line you see extended from the bottom of the exhaustion gap is also the support line for the index. If you see a close below that 1071.31 level (from 11/20/02) for the Nasdaq 100 Index, then that will confirm the end of the bull trend.

I should just ignore it, but sometimes I enjoy telling people what I think of think of them when they show their ignorance. If you are one of those who has any idea about being disruptive in any way, don't waste your time. From now on, I'm just going to hit the old delete key and not bother to respond. "down hard" in early december, then a pop through year end, then a "terrible, terrible first quarter". once we're headed down will use loose trailing stops on puts and will tighten at any sign of a "seasonal year-end" rally.
