ThorAss
Man, I would LOVE to be able to see all this as bullish. Trading on the short side is a little tougher due to the ridiculous uptick rule. Of course when you think about it allowing shorting is kinda ridiculous anyway. You tell me where the $ is going to be in a month's time.
Moon Man
Think I'm neutral at his point. Could see us rangebound for a few days.
ThorAss
You're neutral. NEM seems to get DTs when it gets too far from 44 even. ...and every day was a wedge except for Twosday.
ThorAss
Not sure I really belive in accumulation/distribution or strong hands/weak hands but if I did I would have to see the entire last week as distribution. (in NEM)
ThorAss
Difference between a candle anal cyst and a pattern anal cyst. A candle anal cyst looks at a chart and sees a bullish candle. The pattern anal cyst looked at the chart the day before and said they'll be a bullish candle tomorrow.
Moon Man
I don't follow NEM like you do, but find it interesting neverteless. That's why I don't mind a frequent update on that one. Other than that not much to share really, apart from I'm watching Spy Games. Love that movie.
ThorAss
I think NEM is a very important gold stock in light of the illiquid options market in Hooey. NEM gets good volume and has good predictability for my style of modelling. However, I absolutely DO NOT recommend it as a long term buy and hold. Forget it, you're wasting your money. Many other gold stocks will far outperform NEM during any kind of rally in the POG. Take some off the list I posted yesterday or some new ones. But why chose an extablished heavyweight that will underperform the Hooey any time gold is rising. Don't believe me? Check the ratio charts. Last time I went on about this people started on at me about how they loved the CEO and what great prospects and blah blah blah. I don't care if the company is being run by Woody The Woodpecker or the Tasmanian Devil and unless you know something that no one else knows then what you know is probably built into today's price. What we don't know is what will affect the price going forward. And that can be a lot of things. Environmental hold-ups, drilling success, worker strikes, exchange rates, tax or royalty changes, deaths of key staff members, mine disasters, and last but not least the price of their product metals. So my main point is if you want to make the most money you buy the more heavily leveraged miners which are likely to outperform and time your purchases to coincide with a rising price for PMs. Er ... as simple as that. Tig 'Ol Bitties
.......... consider another 500 ounces off the market for a long long time... Add the three hundo I picked up yesterday morning to that "off the market" pile. BTW...have never used Bullion Direct so I am no help there, but am extremely happy with the service and quality at Tulving. APMEX just got its first try yesterday, Ill let you know how it goes....
