5thelement
Sitting 90% cash, 5% GSS, 5%WHT waiting to reload the miners.? I'm not buying this downturn yet.? One more blow off to clean out all shorts. Disagree, not enough volume. sneak attack on stops only. The buyers will be back today. Spot silver still strong. My seat of the pants sentiment indicator.. (ebay) has priced $7.50 in already HH Hi - been following ebay metals for a while, I actually posted an index of bids on the 10 closest-to-end auctions for a while. I've bought and sold on ebay for a couple years now. Very pleased. Adding to XAU calls in a bit here. Must less risk/higher reward than entering SPX short on a day like today. Nice idea... miners are not selling off that heavy (yet?).. they got pounded in Jan.. plus Gold is still above $

machinehead
Twenty-nine new lows (NYSE + Naz) so far. That's from Yahoo Finance, and may be a delayed quote. Typically at a trough, new lows are in the hundreds.

scottcardiff
Running a fib from 1163 to projected 584 (weekly chart top target) low projects a 78.6% retracement at 1039. Running a fib from 1163 to 1039 projects a 78.6 retrace at 1137 (Tuesday's bounce spot) and a 62% retrace at 1115, today's bounce. The next bounce would be at the 50% projected retrace at 1101. As long as this wave is working perfectly, I'll post the progression. I look for resistance at 1136 to 1140 area.

machinehead
Buy the dip condition exercise continues to work, just like a Pavlovian experiment. Classic Euro markets have bounced back about 0.5% from intraday lows. If they didn't buy the dips, it would crash. Just think of them as moguls on the black diamond slope. The brown one
Buy the dip condition exercise continues to work, just like a Pavlovian experiment. Classic Yep,truly is Pavlovian.Until, one day, some one spikes the experimenter's coffee with PCP and things get totally out of hand.
