Household employment survey shows things are much better than the employer survey - guest shill says that helps explain the optimism for the holiday shopping season (yeah, that and her meds). well, you get the idea...

In the broad market, I'm sniffing out too many positive divergences. Futures are down, but MSFT, SNDK are up. APPX getting Hell Squeezed. Semis are flat. JBLU is gapping up. Don't see any major breakdowns.

You sell your grandmother's silver and china on Ebay to pay your rent. Voila. You are counted as employed in the Household employment numbers.
