Guest
I hear Uranus was seen in conjunction with the moon in NY last week. Not mine kemosabi. Not with Madame Dung there! Speaking of which, Gruff just called me at the Quarry a few minutes ago. We're going to get together Saturday night to hoist a few. BTW, how do I get to Joliet? He seems to have ended up there. 5thelement
Long AMAT. Why not? Might as well reach into that blouse.......... Wyndsrf: Je suis d'accord. But miners are on sale today, why not long more miners instead.
Goldmember
I have one last resistance target around 1020ish which just rejected the price, but it just caught support. We get over 1022 and a new 13-day cycle launches, or carries through from an earlier launch. 1053 anybody? Next week will tell....

richmtn
Yep. It didn't break K-wave's Dow 9500 line in the sand. And once again, the final hour is acting squirrely, instead of roaring to a photo finish as it ought to in a healthy market. Close is a bit sloppy. I'll risk holding onto my shorts. Have a great weekand all.

Have a great weekand all. hmmm....I ended up doing the same. I'm not as sophisticated as the rest of you; but this is what I saw: - Q's, SMH, DIA's didn't even reach yesterday's highs and that was including endless big jams. - yah, indices closed green...but just BARELY...from jam. - Breadth neg. most of the day; Naz never got over +9. - Bounced off of resistance over and over and over... again, including all dem jams. - NEM got back up over 39 So I decided to sit tight for mon/tues. Pile, you mentioned a climb on tues, pre-fomc. Do you also see it climbing right away monday, or would you expect a down day prior to tuesday's runup? Also, I wondered what you expect -after- the fomc? I mean, even if they announce a rate cut, would that spike the mkt? Or would it go down in either case? I can't help thinking rationally; which is why I have so much trouble playing long right now , so to me, just the fact that they feel it -necessary- to cut rate AGAIN, is a BAD econ. sign ! thanks to all ! I'm learning a lot here.
baby_bear
Van Halen, Actually I think he was a bit of a health freak. A friend of mine went rockclimbing with him in Brisbane in the late 80s while I was working there and Dave was in for a concert. He delivers one of my favourite lines in a rock song. I need a woman who won't drive me crazy. I need a woman who knows the meaning of, " Hey hit the Highway." Truly a PC dude. DAVE TV There goes another dictionary!
