Deadcharts are showing prices like three years ago.. KLAC is 50 1/4 ? ? DATEK streamer is whacked... still thinks it's yesterday. The duration of the issue is short (premium or current coupon) at 1. This issue is now trading like an intermediate piece...3.5 duration based on the jump in rates. Not only has the spread blown out and the price declined, but a manger has to reassign that security to a longer duration bucket. if it is a large enought % of the portfolio, the manager has a real problem compared to his benchmark.
