richmtn
Yo ThorryAss I am interested in finding out why you think gold will move lower over the next two weeks. Tia Rich
Crouching Tiger
I've updated my Gold Indices Stockcharts. In my opinion there's been a lot of technical damage done in the last 3 months and I've been selling here. Once over the hill, you pick up speed. http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/Favorit...et?obj=ID458032
ThorAss
Timing Patterns Sentiment In that order. Every big rally has had a mid-rally (where we are now) pull-back that has lasted from 3 days to 3 weeks. I'm expecting a 2 week job but am prepared to act if we break out. One must be careful as we could get a 2-3 day pullback followed by a surge then an extended pullback to support. Check out the patterns on the HUI for the last few years and I think you'll see what I mean. As well, the sediment amongst the gold newsletter writers is too high apparently. All told, not a good sign taken with the rest. I've been in a process of temporarily reducing my PMS exposure, currently at 95% down from 150%, so you wouldn't exactly call me BEARish. Yesterday this portfolio trimming resulted in the reduction of 1 position and the addition of 4 others. :shocked So (Pythonism) this redistribution of wealth is going to be more difficult than I thought. However, I think it may be time to add some STOPS. We are acting in a channel up-phase which has morphed into a rising (Bearish) wedge. This wedge should lead to the pullback which leads to the launch. Maybe ... STOPS added on an individual stock basis below the lower rail might not be a bad idea. I'll come back later with some charts but I've got to do my research now. Anyway, how they hangin'? ThorAss
I think there's a danger in being overly bearish. Look at POG, you gotta love the way it gapped back into The Channel.
ThorAss
Gold picked up a bit. I found by line in the sand, and it was, oddly enough over in the Zow at 71. Above I go back to fully long but prepared to jump out if it doesn't hold. A pullback to 64 then a move to 80 anyone? Too easy?
Charmin
anything over 65 would be just fine and between 330-336 until we hit 336 the fourth time. 1 down and 3 to go. Schrol's HUI Original
