Guest Posted December 5, 2002 Report Posted December 5, 2002 Thanks Doc, your analysis is really helpful and I definitely got the bang for my buck!
Jorma Posted December 5, 2002 Report Posted December 5, 2002 Horrible dilemma here on miners because we are now returned to that level where POG gets smacked hard. Is this time different? I don't want to miss if POG runs over 325 in Asia tonight, but I've gotten clobbered overnight more times than I can remember right at this point. Whats a bug to do? I hear you and I am no bug. Sell a portion of your position I'd say.
Rockhead Posted December 5, 2002 Report Posted December 5, 2002 We gonna break down?????. Both NYSE and NAZ have rising TRIN and falling TICK. Can they save it? What fun, eh?

Sell some.... take some money off the table. You can always get back in, or get into a miner. I'm selling some at the close and if we gap up I will be selling the gap. Pms have done pretty well this week. I think we will see the strong move up in gold sooner than Doc. but hee hee I been wrong before. what I do know is that I haven't been takin the profits like a good little trader should. I always have some miners long anyway. Gotta go... BGO on T just closed its gap.

Guest Posted December 5, 2002 Report Posted December 5, 2002 Col Dashley, both COCO and BBBY are good short here, though less sure about BBBY without looking into their numbers. CHS is another good short for retailers who are going to have a miserable shopping season, and they sell horrible-looking clothing for mid-aged women - having trouble understand why they were able to "quadruple" their profit last qtr.

fxfox Posted December 5, 2002 Report Posted December 5, 2002 doc, when i look at 40, 60 and 90 mins chart with stoch 26/18 i see something i dont like, you too?
PDoody Posted December 5, 2002 Report Posted December 5, 2002 On that coco play anyone familiar with slm? It was mentioned on Ike's show as a short but he gave no opinion. They apparently gave loan to ual. Fundamentals suck, chart appears to have topped. Looks like a safe short.
