Jimi
Canadian retailers are getting a windfall. They are NOT passing along their savings on imports from the US or anywhere else for that matter. Canadian consumers are getting screwed. Canadian residents who earn their livings in US dollars are just screwed, period. Oh well, I could always sell may house and buy something nice in Plattsburgh. Is there such a thing? 609178 if you think that is bad......prepare for the AMERO...... for Canadians it will be bend over and grab your ankles time.... 609180 There will be no Amero. Jimi
I wish I could get long Hank Paulson frequent flyer miles, 'cause dude's about to spend a lot of time shuttling around the world desperately whoring Trash-useries.

LeeWhee
Rick Santelli interviewed Hank Paulson in the Chicago pits either Monday or Friday. He reiterated support for the "strong dollar policy." Just in case anyone missed that reaffirmation. Like, Ben Bernanke, for example. 609170 His strong dollar policy is working beautifully...for the Canadian, NZ and Aussie dollar. He never specified which dollar. He smart kookie. Wonder what definition of moral hazard these guys use?
