When you see that piece of shit E-Bay pushing a Hundred Bucks after a stock split you can see old Meg getting strangled with her own panty hose. When you see the Space Alien Bezo's defying gravity selling books at a loss you know the end is nigh. But your conformation is when you see the guy who is Prez of the USA who can't spell his own name without help-who declares -"Iraq has been liberated". Oh Really?? ;)

Iraq is in chaos, I think there were 87 attacks agains the US and remaining forces on average per day in July. The pace of chaos is increasing and not declining. All over arab tv and the world tv they are watching the horrors of war, including the bombing of civilians caught in the crossfire of an increasingly deadly and horrific conflict. On US TV however, we are watching the final days of the Lacy Peterson trial and debating the war records of our president and opponent that occured in the early 1970's.....for gods sake America had better wake up.....

thanks for oc data

a few nights ago i detailed a market with 20%+ vacancies and industrial elase rates near those of 20 years ago. now think about the increase in owner-user demand due to mortgage interest rates. something is terribly wrong - doc detailed various commrecial-industrial markets and how bad they are..... if demand is so weak with low rates, what happens if rates are forced higher... somethging is really wrong
Iat least we're all safe for now. thank God we're in a bowling alley.

Why only 1 million? Why not 1 Billion BPD?

Associated Press
Update 2: OPEC Expected to Increase Production
09.15.2004, 06:16 AM

OPEC members were expected to increase the cartel's production during a meeting Wednesday by as much as 1 million barrels a day to meet the global demand for oil. But anal cysts contended that any decision by the group would be unlikely to have an impact on high oil prices.

Late Tuesday, an OPEC panel decided to recommend that ministers raise their output ceiling by 500,000 barrels a day, delegates said. The panel, which will present the proposal, also suggested that the group meet again in November or December to assess the market.

But if the 11-nation Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries opts to raise output, it's unlikely that would result in lower prices at gas pumps worldwide, anal cysts said.

If approved, the decision would increase OPEC's self-imposed output limit for all its members, except Iraq, from 26 million barrels a day to 28 million barrels, bringing the cartel in line with actual output, which stands at more than 27.4 million barrels.

US to shift Iraq reconstruction funds to pay for more security to boost oil production...oh yeah, and more jobs for Iraqis too! Disingenuous assholes.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Frustrated by the pace of rebuilding in Iraq, the State Department announced on Tuesday it would switch $3.4 billion in U.S. funds from water and power projects to boost security, oil output and jobs for Iraqis.

"The security situation presents the most serious obstacle to reconstruction and economic and political development in Iraq," said Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Marc Grossman, in explaining the shift in funds.

The money is being reshuffled from $18.4 billion appropriated by Congress last November to rebuild Iraq's shattered infrastructure.

Insurgent attacks have stalled many U.S.-funded projects and the hope is this new focus will create a more stable environment for rebuilding work.

So now a large chunk of money goes to "private contractors" in the security industry and the Iraqi's continue to die from drinking shitty water.

I reckon 2 years of security should do it.Very few left to fight--all dead from dysentry etc.Winning their hearts and minds as usual!
