I hate to say it, since I'll be away Monday and can't watch the goings-on, but wouldn't it be just perfect for the Repub case to have a monster rally day coming into the keynote speech?
Of course I'm caustic!

ok, another server slowdown, and this time we identified the culprit. It's stoolmail. The server cannot handle the volume of incoming virus generated email and spam. As a result unfortunately I will need to shut down Stoolmail.  This will be done July 30.

Doc.

Anything stoolies can do to help eliminate the problem?

Hunter- Tanks for asking, but I don't think so. If you think of all the virus generated mails you get, just imagine all the phony headers that stoolmail must process and try to deliver over and over again. It tries to deliver thousands of emails with bad addresses several times a day, and bogs the server down.

Spam and/or virus generated mail is not nor has it been a problem for me.

I am extremely reluctant to give out any personal id info, download from the net,
open attachements from 'known senders'.

You can bet your last dollar that every large fund is working together to try to keep this pig north of 10,000. I expect to close north of 10,000. If we do not that is a very, very bearish sign, imo.
""Pretty bubbleheads preen daily on our financial networks, playing the shill to Wall Street and Washington in order to lure unsuspecting Americans into buying insanely overvalued stocks. The great market exchanges, once prudent arenas of investment where the engine of capitalism traded value for value, have become sham casinos staggering under decades of massive Fed created debt and lurching into oblivion on the greater fool theory. Yet our high level bureaucrats, led by Alan Greenspan, exhort all Americans to consume still more of their seed corn and seek still more fools." N. Hultberg

This market is still inflated. No real fear until you see the homebuilders and autos take the big dive.

Something tells me the foreign markets aren't going to like today's performance.
