Sorry, I think this is so important I'm reposting.

TE,

You might want to introduce your children to your gun as early and as often as possible to reduce/eliminate the mystique. This should always be done under supervision. They should be instructed that the gun is always loaded (only unloaded guns kill people). It should emphasized that it is never to be pointed at anything that is not intended to be destroyed. They should be told it is never to handled without proper supervision.

As Brian pointed out, you should get some professional instruction, not only on the actual use of the firearm, but also as to the legal ramifications of such use. Firearms ownership is a huge responsiblity and should be approached as such by everyone in your family. A mistake here can very seldom be taken back.

Whether you own a friearm or not, everyone should instruct their children that if they are ever in a situation with other children and a gun of any sort is being handled, displayed or played with, they should IMMEDIATELY leave the area and tell an adult.

Ano my first pistol was a snub .38 today my nephew who is an RCMP Officer carries a 'Glock" which is more powerful and can cause more damage than any handgun seen-progress or serene stupidity??

glock, the plastic gun with less mass, easier to pull and aim. The police officers swear by them.

ConfusedAssRev1,

I was watching the Soprano's so I wasn't here to respond. I have already told my family and when I pick it up they will learn about it. Already, Since they have been able to understand, they have been brought up not to even point a toy gun at another person. I appreciate what you are saying and will adhere to it. Thank you. :)

And it's too late to loose the weight you used to need to throw around
So have a good drown, as you go down, alone
Dragged down by the stone.

This being a "short" list of high beta stocks.

They will not be recomendations. Just entertainment. Short em with monopoly money. I know nothing.

To add to the chaos, I am buying my first gun this week. I am or was a pacifist.

handgun?

Yep.

Had this combat masterpiece (stock picture). Came 'blued', had it chromed. Added oversize wooden grips. Love this weapon. (Bought for $68 in 1973 at age 21)

finally, thanks for calling it a weapon..

in the army we learned this little rhyme , ( 1st week)

This is my weapon ( hold your weapon in front of you)
This is my Gun ( grab you crotch)
This is for shooting ( hold your weapon out in front 2nd time)
This is for fun ( grab your crotch again)
