With the Merc going retro whipsaws and head fakes are the norm. TA pretty much a waste ...just have to ride out the whipsaws and see what shakes out. Merc finally goes positive again sometime this Friday.

Long DOW 10505. If we go below 1144 for any extended time then I will close x1.

Over 1150 I am long again.

bought 10 May 1145's stop 48-window now closed it went against us-it is on its own for awhile. This is the moment of truth, the demarcation line lets see if 1145 holds.

The Merc just nailed me. Too flakey, and at what is typically a trend-prone point in the trading day.

I'm sticking to the sidelines for now, though will probably try at least one tomorrow.

I feel so , so fortunate that the bull savant is on board to protect us all . What a relief.
""Pretty bubbleheads preen daily on our financial networks, playing the shill to Wall Street and Washington in order to lure unsuspecting Americans into buying insanely overvalued stocks. The great market exchanges, once prudent arenas of investment where the engine of capitalism traded value for value, have become sham casinos staggering under decades of massive Fed created debt and lurching into oblivion on the greater fool theory. Yet our high level bureaucrats, led by Alan Greenspan, exhort all Americans to consume still more of their seed corn and seek still more fools." N. Hultberg

internals are pathetic, this is the last gasp, no clue how far they can run the soundbite avgs, but this has opportunity written all over .

Opening now for 40 minutes. I would say the top is in and not just for today-the rest of the day should be down. ;)
