Happy Holidays Doc.
I love you and my little dog loves you.
Glad someone mentioned about subscription renewal.
I think I'll send mine in early just in case the banking system collapses.

"Americans can always be counted on to do the right thing...after they have exhausted all other possibilities."
"You can fool some of the people all of the time."
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Thank you Doc and fellow Stoolies for making this place a great refuge amidst a sea of dung.
Thank the Lord, too, for allowing the right sperm to enter Mrs. Hurst Sr.'s ovum

"We are completely dependant on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money (at the request of the consumer) we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system.... It is the most important subject intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very soon." --Robert H. Hemphill, Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank,1938...

Hey, I had a dream last night. Woke up Xmas morning and what do I see, but Greenspan and Bernanke coming down my chimney dressed as Santa Claus and Hannukah Harry. Gave 'em some cookies and asked what they had in the big red bags on their backs. Well, bags full of dollars, of course. They were doing continuous currency airdrops to prevent the whole economy going into the old tankeroo. Told me they needed to gas up the Sleigh, but OPEC would only take gold and did I have any? I told 'em sure, for 10,000/oz.

Ouch, got the smackdown. Hmm...I thought that WAS a good wish!
May the world be a more sane place soon, with more reasonable people and institutions. It may get dark, but a new year starts with one new day. And each day is full of possibilities to make the world a better place if we only take the time and make the effort.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone!
