Mr. Beal
Probably their CFO... "During the fourth quarter of fiscal 2003, Cisco repurchased 83 million shares of common stock for an aggregate purchase price of $1.4 billion. For fiscal 2003, Cisco repurchased 424 million shares of common stock for an aggregate purchase price of $6.0 billion." LOL AS Which is exactly how they bearly met the estimates. I wonder what they earned absent they buy backs?

Jimi
SEE-BS-MarketHype STILL has the following large headline: "CISCO matches Street's goals" When do they lower that and put up, "Bagholders Get Thrashed in Afterhours"?
TheMotleyStool
we know crisco aint a growth company, what does the company really earn? 25 cents, maybe .30 after they expense all the expenses? So the stock is worth about 7 bucks, but only if they start to pay a nice dividend. Arne Alsin at RM says it has negative earnings after expensing options, removing the tax break from options, etc.
wndysrf
Share buybacks? What a collossal error. Squandering a cash hoard by buying back your stock trading at 50x trailing and 8x sales, when 425 million shares barely makes a dent in the gigantic 7 billion in total float. Criminals, all of them......
