CSCO open orders on Island are running 2 to1 on the sell side. But there are some curiously huge buy orders of 30,000 (1/2 million).

Does anybody think that the final-hour slide was NOT caused by leaked word of the Cisco announcement?

Everyday it becomes clearer that 'forensic trading' (as the buddha calls it) is what the pros do.

we know crisco aint a growth company, what does the company really earn? 25 cents, maybe .30 after they expense all the expenses? So the stock is worth about 7 bucks, but only if they start to pay a nice dividend.

...1215 looks like support for the $NDX, with an overthrow to 1212.4....they let go of that then 1201 and 1184.87 are on deck....1224 will also play a role somewhere in the game..... :P
Anthony caused pearls to be dissolved in wine to drink the health of Cleopatra; Sir Richard Whittington was as foolishly magnificent in an entertainment to King Henry V; and Sir Thomas Gresham drank a diamond, dissolved in wine, to the health of Queen Elizabeth, when she opened the Royal Exchange; but the breakfast of this roguish Dutchman was as splendid as either. He had an advantage, too, over his wasteful predecessors: their gems did not improve the taste or the wholesomeness of their wine, while his tulip was quite delicious with his red herring.here

The last hour for CSCO reminded me of the eighth inning of a lopsided baseball game when the people start filing out of the exits early to avoid the rush.

Same way they threatened the boxer, when da boyz told him, "It's not your night to win, kid. Get over it."

Probably their CFO...

"During the fourth quarter of fiscal 2003, Cisco repurchased 83 million shares of common stock for an aggregate purchase price of $1.4 billion. For fiscal 2003, Cisco repurchased 424 million shares of common stock for an aggregate purchase price of $6.0 billion."
