....so much for dong...

....I have no clue.... :P
Anthony caused pearls to be dissolved in wine to drink the health of Cleopatra; Sir Richard Whittington was as foolishly magnificent in an entertainment to King Henry V; and Sir Thomas Gresham drank a diamond, dissolved in wine, to the health of Queen Elizabeth, when she opened the Royal Exchange; but the breakfast of this roguish Dutchman was as splendid as either. He had an advantage, too, over his wasteful predecessors: their gems did not improve the taste or the wholesomeness of their wine, while his tulip was quite delicious with his red herring.here

This is a system bloated and overfed with credit. The bond market just put a hole in it that could leak for quite awhile. The leveraged community, which nowadays includes just about everybody, will have to deal with an increase in real rates just when they can least afford it.
Ben and Al did not understand what they were dealing with. The bond market is the Incredible Hulk of the financial markets. It's something those two should have known not to get angry.
