Mr. TwoScrews, FURst of all, itz "RAH! RAH!  RAH!!!"

Secondly, TwoScrews: it's (mostly) an Ivy League thingy ...

I distinctly recall the expression being used in a Firesign Theater dialogue. Were they IVY LEAGUERS??? Hell, I doubt it.

But the BARE, in his innocence, doubtless has not been exposed to such insidious mindf*** material.

Machinehead: I thought you were quoting Firesign!!!! The quote is from "Waiting for the Electrician....or someone like him" ....

"Eat it raw! rah, rah, rah" is correct.

...."Doctor, doctor....give him something for his cough!"

A little hope to take the sting off the big negative story in the region, which is that USAirways is going to close its hub operation at Greater Pittsburgh International, to the tune of about 7000 jobs.

Where will it remain?

Wasn't Pittsburgh it's HQ?

Great. The PA legislature turns to gambling. That will make us a world power, alright.

Seattle blew half a billion on two new stadiums (stadii?) here.

Now they claim there's a budget crisis in the schools, etc.

"What should be clear at this point is that even huge fiscal stimulus and unprecedented financial excess are incapable of fostering a sound and self-sustaining economic expansion. anyone know when klac reports?
""Pretty bubbleheads preen daily on our financial networks, playing the shill to Wall Street and Washington in order to lure unsuspecting Americans into buying insanely overvalued stocks. The great market exchanges, once prudent arenas of investment where the engine of capitalism traded value for value, have become sham casinos staggering under decades of massive Fed created debt and lurching into oblivion on the greater fool theory. Yet our high level bureaucrats, led by Alan Greenspan, exhort all Americans to consume still more of their seed corn and seek still more fools." N. Hultberg
