I guess Michiganders don't see a turnaround in the near future.

LANSING, Mich. (AP) The state House on Tuesday overwhelmingly approved legislation to give thousands of jobless workers an additional 13 weeks of unemployment benefits.

The bill, approved 94-4, would make $206 million in mostly federal funding available to about 53,000 jobless workers in Michigan who have used up their benefits. It now goes to the Senate for its approval.

Heh heh. I am running the following ad on Google.

Alan Greenspan?
Or Al E. Greenspeuman? You decide!
Follow Al's Fed with Dr. Stool
www.Capitalstool.com

It comes up when you do a search on Alan Greenspan or a variety of keywords like Fed or Fed funds.

By the way, I added Google Ads in the left menu. Mostly public service ads because it hasn't read the new board pages yet, but on the home page and Topic lists there are some neat ads. At least try and read them.

is that thing rigged. i either clicked on the charity ad or the PTA ad and i got a stinking viagra pop-up.

Ask your doctor if it's right for you.

Most of the spam-mail I get falls into one of three categories:

1. A pill to enlarge my penis by "an amazing three inches" and enabling me to outlast any gal.

2. Offers to have wild sex with incredibly hot women.

3. Loan me money at some unbelievably low rate.

They all get deleted immediately.

Now if one day I get a spam-mail offering a pill that does all three . . . simultaneously,
I might consider it . . . for a moment . . . before deleting it.

could you forward the first two to me (in order) please before you delete.
Iat least we're all safe for now. thank God we're in a bowling alley.

Mark was right about the run up in INTC at about 3PM. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Japanese leadership again. While Greenspan is trying the Japanese recipe by dropping interest rates, he has not yet tried to command corporations to increase their earnings as the Japanese government is doing. Doubtless he will soon copy this innovation. Japan Times

Quod Severis Metes

Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the Matrix. You are the eventuality of an internal anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts, I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.
You haven't answered my question.
Quite right. Interesting. That was quicker than the others.
