Guys and Gals- the p/c ratio closed today at .98 that is not bearish it is BULLISH it means everyone jumped on the put wagon-yup its going down next month probably around the 2oth-until then don't get CAUGHT in the crosshairs-the drawdowns on your capital are significant in rallies wether you are in BEARX (which is a very good fund )or not! Trade safe! (source:cboe.com/statistics)

Just got home and haven't been following the action if someone has already explained this. Why is the dollar blowing chunks tonight?

It's been as low as 103.59 tonight, and is currently 103.66. That's somewhere around 50 cents below it's 4:00 pm close.

B4, you are correct about the Put/Call ratios being high. Looks like we have more pain tomorrow.

Sweef,

I'm glad you posted before me. I 've been told to cut half my longs at 930 spx tomorrow. We might not even get there, considering the $ decline.

TE, you beat me to it.

*** TRIPLE SCAM WEEK ***
*** TRIPLE SCAM WEEK ***
*** TRIPLE SCAM WEEK ***
*** TRIPLE SCAM WEEK ***

Anyway, one day p/c ratio is meaningless. Follow 21-day ma. Chances are good, given its scam week, that the pcr could drop tomorrow.

Today's heavy put action while VIX dropped like a stone was obvious put contract op ex manip BS, per Rog over in intraday.

Do not forgot the mighty and nasty 5 year H&S neckline looms large at SPX 950-960. So close I can smell its ugliness.

Buck has fallen out of bed and gold is on the move.

1425 Nasdaq is my upside target tomorrow; that should complete the shoulder. Similarly for SPX; maybe ~925.

If Gold doesn't stop rising it could be a bloodbath event in the making…
"We are completely dependant on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money (at the request of the consumer) we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system.... It is the most important subject intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very soon." --Robert H. Hemphill, Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank,1938...
