Irrational Fear(11/27/02) Talk about a false sense of security! Well, what about a false sense of fear? That's what bears felt the last couple of days as the market hung around the highs. The longer it stayed there, the more scared bears got.

If your portfolio has you feeling irregular, for fast, long lasting relief, take a subscribatory. And support your local Stool!

For any of those who might have missed the Intraday thread, I'd just like to take credit for having front run EACH and EVERY ONE of the scaredy-bear arguments cited by Doc in tonights Anals. Fokker managed to post his panic about the bullish descending wedge, the massive feed, the inevitability of Al Green's curare-tipped member aimed straight at Fokker and us Stoolies.

...A declining spenglerian carnival of Colossaalism united with Inflation where the numbers one through 10 are forever banished as worthless arithmetical detritus from a bygone age... - Beardrech

Naturally we believe the govt numbers... and Boobus Americanus sleepwalks off the edge of the energy-crisis cliff clutching his shares of "Crisco", Yoohoo and GooGah munching on his Yum Yums and Ho Hos. Future historians will have a hell of a time figuring out what the hell Americanus neanderthalus was thinking and exactly what brought on his sudden demise... - Henny Penny

Well, good night everyone. I gotta go lube up for tomorrow's regular end-of-week Gold Slapdown and Stock Index Bear Punishment Rally Weekend Greenprint. ...Probably another Shock-and-Awe Gap-Up-Open and Wire-to-Wire Meltup Runaway Bull Charge Mo-Mo Spike to Fresh New All-Time Lifetime Highs, culminating in a 4:15 yelping scalded dog runoff with panic short-covering and legal not-held bad double fills due to fast market conditions, plus quote system freeze-ups and trading platform lock-outs along the way. *yawn* typical gov't Friday. - Shorty

Well

Hate to say it, but I was on the money moving from my SPY short to the QQQ short Monday at 1045am, 1486 on the NAS at the time, 28.15 on the Q's.... 200% leverage, and I aint covering.

Now, that said...

The Rydex funds I use are one of my many indicators (Im an ewaver mostly)...

And RYVNX fund yesterday closed about 25% below its 200day MA... last time it did that was March 11th of this year, the last major top...

Last time Bulls were trampling over bears by this much was March of 2000... yep.... March of 2000....

That in addition to my Momentum indicators turning down a few days ago (A lead indicator) was enough for me to sack up and go balls to the wall yesterday morning.

Now... NASDUCK is cooked, with possible one more move to 30 on the Q's.... but unlikely.... the reality is warnings are coming, and Q1 will again be SUCKING WIND.

Look for 1200 on the NAS by mid January, and 1327 is just around the corner well ahead of XMAS....

Fokker's got to admit that Simple Guy's the shit. He's been mackin' those e-wavy fiber nachos like a champ, from day one. No wonder Complicated Gal's all in a tizzy!
