Early openers  paddling around in the red: Kiwis -0.3%, Aussies -0.4%, Japan -0.6%, Sth Korea flat.

In Aussie sectors, Healthcare/REITS +0.3% down to Miners -1.9%.

All Ords came off the lows to finish -0.1%.  Telecomms was on top with a modest gain of +0.7% and Miners was at the other end, -1.2%.

Over in Asia, China -0.2%, Hong Kong -0.8%, Japan -1.1%, India closed.
