Uniformly green for the early openers: Kiwis +0.2%, Aussies and Nikkers +1.1% and Sth Korea +0.1%.

Utilities +1.4% is leading Aussie sectors followed by Financials +1.3% with Gold -1.9% the only down sector.

Sellers took over from buyers in the arvo leaving All Ords +0.5% for the day.  Utilities +1.2% retained the lead with IT +0.9% in second place.  Gold remained despondent, -2.2%.

Asia hanging in: China +0.8%, Honkers +1.8%, India +0.3% and Nikkers +1.5%.

Honestly, I can't tell whether this is 2006 or 2007.

 

I've seen it compared in the stock forum/blogosphere and MSM to 1995, 99-00, 87... it's available in all flavors.
