Nothing much happening for the early openers: Kiwis -0.1%, Aussies +0.2%, Nikkers -0.2% and Sth Korea -0.1%.

Deathly quiet on the Aussie market with the Gold sector down yet another -1.1% and Financials/Telecomms +0.6% showing the biggest gain.

A bump and grind day for All Ords which closed +0.4%. Most sectors barely moved with Telecomms +1% at the top and Gold -1.1% at the other end.

Over in Asia there were a couple of jumps: China +3% and Honkers +1.5%; India +0.3% and Nikkers +0.1% were more subdued.

On to UK/Europe:

Interlude.....

....A walking, talking Honeycomb.....

Jimmy Rogers circa 1958
"Americans can always be counted on to do the right thing...after they have exhausted all other possibilities."
Churchill

"You can fool some of the people all of the time."
Lincoln

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
Jefferson

I fully expect a fecal cliff mini-crash that retests the Spring 2012 lows...at a minimum

But I've been wrong before
