fxfox Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Man oh man, oh Manning! very good game, have to admit when the Saints had 4th and goal at end of 2nd quarter and they didnt make it I thought that was it. Congrats to New Orleans, think thats good for the city. Unfortunately we dont have that World League anymore. There was a good team in Frankfurt, I attended some games. They had a huge fan base, sometimes 50,000 crowds, also popular among soldiers in the Rhein-Main region (think Rhein-Main airbase was once the biggest airfield outside the US). There are not many things in sports which are more entertaining then seeing an 96 yard touchdown live in the stadium.

Lemur Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Added an S+P short just below 1070 this morning when I woke up. Looking to let it run to 1000 or so.
Lemur Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Scanning some charts here GBPUSD looks like it could be headed back to 1.4000 support on the monthly charts (1.500 would be a good interim target). Broke weekly support last week. USDCHF, USDCAD look potentially higher. NZDUSD, USDJPY, EURJPY hard to call. Will be looking for a re-entry on silver short this week. GDX also.

Drano Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Marketwretch headline: Stocks Set for Rosy Start Marketwretch futures: SPX down 1.90 Let's see if something changes and there's a "rosy start" after all.
Lemur Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 OK my trading is picking up. Last 10 trades. All winners. Last 100 trades 70% win rate. Win/loss ratio 2:1 (Avg winner made twice as much as avg loser). Not making a fortune though as avg trade risk is <1% of my a/c. I have never blown out an a/c and never will.
Lemur Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 OK nice. We are getting a bit of a pump up in the mkt. Nice opportunity to go short later.
