Mr. Hanky - only came across your charts today - great stuff.

Thought about you yesterday -- apparently you weren't in the AC garage collapse since you posted in the evening.

The theory that the S&P is still 'vibrating' off the 1987 crash is interesting. It seemed like that giant crash should have signified something. But it got written off as a "one-day bear market." Maybe it wasn't as meaningless as people thought.

Love the quote:

We've arranged a civilization in which most crucial elements profoundly depend on science and technology. We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while, but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces. --- Carl Sagan

hanky, like MH, I just came across your stuff today. appreciate you taking the time to post; and especially for your detailed annotations which make the charts so much more meaninful.

as a (small) gold-miner, i'd be fascinated to learn more about FCS, and why POG correlates so well. Or does FCS work well for "everything" ??
