longOnUranus
'made a few bux as a hoe for the long side and a stud for the short side; headed to the Turkish bath for a rest. Shorts and long, no options. Totally boring day, for the most part. Like watching cement dry. Won't be this way for "long"...hahahahaha.

Guest
mutual fund layoffs (from todays WSJ): ----------------------------------------------------- Amvescap PLC plans to consolidate its two U.S. mutual-funds sales forces into one under its largest subsidiary, AIM Investments. The decision will likely lead to staff cuts at Amvescap's other big U.S. mutual-funds unit, Invesco Funds Group. Amvescap shares have fallen more than 60% during the last two years, compared with drops of 9% for T. Rowe Price Group, 12% for Franklin Resources Inc. and 54% for Janus Capital Group Inc. longOnUranus
Unfortunately, when the world markets bottom for decades and Hypertiger is elected Supreme Ruler of The Universe, the markets will be like this everyday.
machinehead
New moon on April 1st (next Tuesday) plus end-of-month and end-of-quarter action may provide a slight bullish bias. Otherwise, this is Seventies 'hate market' action. Lower those sideburns.
Kid
Doc - I thought the T minus 2 meant only two days left until the first Qtr ramp job is over - then back to normal. Long and short waiting for further confirmation

purdymouth
Unfortunately, when the world markets bottom for decades and Hypertiger is elected Supreme Ruler of The Universe, the markets will be like this everyday. And with the newfound power, Hypertiger will become an evil tyrant. I hope he remembers me and lets me be in charge of a shocktrooper unit! The End
No major changes. Sold some puts at the low. bought em back at 867. Still have a couple of calls as insurance. I say we go a bit lower here or stay flat for a couple of days before going lower. I know nothing.

I'm strangling this bitch both long and short Perhaps higher but sentiment suggests we are in a topping area already. http://www.decisionpoint.com/affiliate/pc.html Not only was there no fear going into the March 11 low but there was greed. Hey anything can happen I guess, that's why I am long and short with tight stops on both legs.
