Slappy
Started to post this in IDS but it's better for here .... I'm staying away from the market for now, but I did just get a nice price on some bullion .... A quick shoutout to my folks who will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary this weekend. And a long distance dedication to Correll and all you other young at heart Stoolies, ,an archived rant from BD, may he return soon... Most of our early lives (men espescially) are spent under matronly supervision: Dont do this;Dont do that; Its too dangerous this and too fearful that: the litany goes on and on, first in swaddling clothes, under the tutorial authority of nippled Mommism...then throughout early and late childhood which, almost in a hurricane whoosh, terminates in Adolescence....which goes through one misadventure after another Always accompanied by adult derision and ribald laughter....See What did I tell you Rifka,,,,a real Yold, an Idiot....Heh heh! enunciates theavuncular and sepulchrally gasping voice of Uncle Shimen, who by chance happens to have all of the intellectual dynamism of the village from whence he came.... To him the invention of the horse and camel were disturbing abominations The behavioural cusp, this membership in the biggest crowd of natural idiots in the world terminates in a usually "ignorant" rebellion, which, in most cases, terminates in another phase of ,equally ignorant, remorse (usually after a major distaster in which a precious piece of family property is involved)--- The last phase is Atonement....foolish promises of not doing it again, for ever and ever :not to go out with poxed women, never to by pies from the street vending pieman, not to J-walk--not to spit or urinate in public until the blackboard of your mind is cluttered with sclerotic inhibitions.. After a few decades, Obviously ,this becomes intolerable, and so we regress to the mean...We make decisions comprimising between socialised security and Eval Keneval daredevilism....with the riposte to the judgemental interrogative:Why did you act so foolishly??--consisting of the narrow spectrum starting from the pseudo-autonomous "Just Because " to the darkly leaden,"I don't know"... In essence our warning and watching agency (the sadistic portion of the superego} continuously chides us in a bi-polar manner of Dont do that or alternatively "What are you worried about,it'll turn out OK!!! And out of this wretched pile of self-contradictin mental entrails we are supposed to act wisely!!!----Huh? Have a great weekend everyone

I am still long looking for a gap up on Monday. Mostly options & spreadbets so no exposure to blow up if it goes against me.
Sudaca
"Hello ? Mr. Borker ? Yes...ummm, it's Joe here. I just got my statement and I think there seems to be a misunderstanding. I specifically said Large Cap stocks only, and yet I see many Small Caps in my portfolio. Why did you make that switch?" "I didn't. They were large caps a few weeks ago"

Scully
It appears the 2 day cycle continues to rule. Downtrend is NOT broken. Unless we get a lot more upside on Monday, I will be looking for a short entry point for the next ride down.
