RockLedge
Attn: Short-Only HedgeHogs. Please stop it with the shorting and trying to pick tops on the IBD Screamers. Here's another Top 100 wildly gapping up another $3 in the Pre-Market. EASI now up $4.62!! Unbelievable. TASR seems to be a sweet trader... but I wouldn't even try to short it long term. It's headed to 100, IMO. Fumble mgrs. all over it for the year end print.
Guest
Could be a bad afternoon on the bond markets. This assumes that the yield curve should remain the same shape in the face of a tightening. I see not fundamental reason whatsoever why that should be the case, in fact I would argue that a rate hike should be supportive at the longer end. Lock Limit Down
Silver now at 5.62. It's blowing the lid off! I remember the last time silver exploded back in January 1998. It was rumored Warren Buffet took a huge position, {I would wager he still has it }, Silver exploded for 40% in under a month. Sadly it didnt hold. It has been a long wait to see these levels breached once again

wndysrf
wndy: However it only takes a couple of hours to wipe out months of gains in that momentum crap. Funny , does peoples momentum daily ever mention that? You are aware that billy oneal mutual fund blew up in the '70s? Billy O'Neil had a mutual fund that failed? That's funny!! No wonder!! He's always chasing all the parabolic wonders. Regarding TASR, how much heat will shorts have to take before it collapses? $100? $150? What if it HeatMaps up to $400 like QCOM did? I was looking at TASR at $69, the "magic number". Attempted to short it, but got that infamous message: "No Shares Available" Then I said forget it...... I like to short these mo-mo screamers for sport occasionally. But after getting stopped out on over 72 short trades the last 6 months, I said forget it...
