BearHugs
Asked person A why they voted for Bush. Answer: "You have to give tax breaks to the rich because they're the ones that invest." I said he and the rest of his administration are fascists. Answer: "That's alright". Asked person B: Answer: "Kerry lied. I saw that ad on TV"
brian4
Last night on Globals National Newscast..the feature story was on several families from different parts of the U.S. who as a result of the Election are moving to or have applied to move Canada. To hear the heart rending reasons and the trauma they went thru to make the ultimate desicion would touch anyone. They will be good citizens and will be welcome here. Guest
I'd suggest to the democratic party that the next serious candidate (read not edwards) should come from a southern state with strong religous values.....oh heres graph expressing the strong polarization of the each state (more fun graphs can be found at :The Big Picture) I agree, I think this one sums it up BearHugs, exactly my sentiments, especially since my state of MI is pink. Let the Blue States (pink) join with Canada. Let the South cecede from the Union, Let Texas and New Mexico go back to Mexico, Let the rest of the states flounder. Because that's what they are doing and bringing the rest of the Nation down. Oh, well, that's a dream , a fantasy, but how I am thinking at this point. Knucklehead Smith
http://www.blackboxvoting.org/ Black Box Voting has taken the position that fraud took place in the 2004 election through electronic voting machines. We base this on hard evidence, documents obtained in public records requests, inside information, and other data indicative of manipulation of electronic voting systems. What we do not know is the specific scope of the fraud. We are working now to compile the proof, based not on soft evidence -- red flags, exit polls -- but core documents obtained by Black Box Voting in the most massive Freedom of Information action in history. Greg Palast : Kerry won. They just didn't count the Democratic votes Who in hell would stand in the rain for 5 hours in Ohio to vote for Bush? http://www.gregpalast.com/ http://safevoting.org/ http://www.invisibleballots.com/ http://www.tbtmradio.com/geeklog/public_html/index.php http://www.verifiedvoting.org/ http://www.roadwomen.com/Articles_Archive/...on_day_2004.htm http://www.wheresthepaper.org/ny.html http://www.wheresthepaper.org/links.html

I owe a lot to the United States, but even if it makes me incredibly sad, I will enjoy watching what happens when a Morality Posse takes over. You can change kids' history books all you want, the country is going down BIG TIME. This morning's front page from the Globe & Mail : Bush says he won't ease up Armed with a reloaded political mandate, U.S. President George W. Bush vowed Thursday to continue spreading freedom and democracy around the globe while pushing ahead with sweeping domestic reforms. ?I earned capital in the campaign, political capital, and now I intend to spend it,? He was real cocky yesterday at a press conference. You ain't seen nothing yet me thinks. I laid out a doctrine that said if you harbour a terrorist, you're equally as guilty as the terrorist. I read that over 60 countries harbour terrorists group... But I think the list doesn't include Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.. Appearing relaxed and jovial, the President also made clear that he remains willing to act unilaterally. Allies will be consulted, but not necessarily heeded. ?I will reach out to others and explain why I make the decisions I make,? he said. Like going to war because of WMDs.. I also liked the Powell presentation.. But he cast the presence of more than 150,000 U.S. soldiers in Iraq as assistance to an allied government, not an ongoing occupation. ?It's their government, it's their country,? he said. ?We're there at their invitation." ... ?I will be your President regardless of your faith, and I don't expect you to agree with me necessarily on religion,? he said. You mean it ? Thank you so much ! http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto.../International/

jstrack
Gold I would guess is rising due to world concerns. It has to be because the economic news out of the US is ok and dollar just spiked. The start of fighting in Faluga will start soon, there is a terrorist threat and Isreal is probably starting to receive those bunker buster bombs they ordered.... What else? Overall, a rise in gold under these circumstances is alarming....
