Guest yobob1
Welcome to B4 the Bell, where winning is as easy as not playing the game, unless of course you actually know what in the hell you're doing. Backstabing and eye gouging are not permitted but pretty much everything else is. No harm, no foul. During trading hours any non-market related posts should be brief. Well, ok not my death actually but in truth my birthday is not until the 26th which will bring the tally to one year short of my half life. Unfortunately the retirement funds are scheduled to run out at 3/4s of the century mark. Guess I better plan on one can of tuna a week instead of two. Don't know exactly how the date got off in the Stoolie register but I suspect it's all Al Greenspamandeggs' fault, who by the way will not be raising rates this month or next or until he is retired by accidentally shooting himself in the back of the head 8 times. Guest yobob1
Yurup. FTSE, CAC, DAX, all down around 1% but that's probably mostly ketchup since they didn't get to play in the last half of Friday. The Nikkei recovered to only down 64 after flirting with 200+ down. Still the Nikkei is now solidy below the psychological 11,000 level once again. Gold holding steady, which is a little surprising given Uncle Bucky's face plant. Silver is quietly moving lower in London - down a nickel. Seems as if lately London has become the source of the work-downs in Silver but NY hasn't been playing along. Divorce went well. am now back with 1st wife, and that's going rather well too Great to hear Hi Hat. All the best. They have retaken 1065 on the spoos this morning. Coming up on the 8:00am metals slap down hour. Still think they are coiling for a big move up. Crude coming back as well. ROC under close watch as well as Eurodollars which have bounced back up to challenge the 200Day. Its a looong way back up to the 50/200 DMA on all indexes. Wouldn't be surprised to see them try and bounce this thing in front of the FOMC. I still think no way the fed raises. HBs ghost easing warrants consideration but I am convinced perception is the biggest problem the Fed faces. Take my comments with due consideration with regards to my last call. I didn't think they would add 1/4. I was totally wrong. I do think things are sooooo fragile any tightening would put the last nail in the coffin. machinehead
On Saturday morning, [Richard Russell] posted to subscribers anyway ("I lied"). He wrote: "My advice is to be OUT, OUT, OUT of this market and to be in cash. Leave your gold positions alone. "The way this market is going, I expect it to at least 'test' the September 2002 low of around Dow 7,500 and maybe lower."
