wndysrf
As usual, the Globe is obsessed with anything and everything which can engineer miracle bio fixes. DNA has added $10 billion in market cap for coming up with a drug which has $1 billion in revenue estimates. Why are these biotechs getting so extended based on some minor, incremental cancer drug gains? Because one step towards the cure for cancer is one step towards "artificial body enhancement". Boob jobs by taking a pill. Weight loss miracles by taking a pill. Three inch extensions by taking a pill. Teeth whitening by taking a pill. Body reshaping by taking a pill. On and on. That's why periodically we have these hysteria runs in the Boob Stock Index (BTK). ............................. What does Al Green have up his sleeve? Why are the financials on fire? Why are the mortgage insurers suddenly going vertical? Why do the homebubblers remain parabolic? Must mean that Frank Shostak's "Helicopter Money" drop is on the way. Don't laugh. He said its been discussed by Central Bankers lately. Everyone is getting a big check soon. You can do anything you want with the money except save it. What about the Supermodels? What new application explains this sudden explosion? Must be the new "programmable chips" to be installed somewhere to monitor how you are spending your money. Al Green making sure you don't hoard your dollars. Savings accounts are about to become illegal. Or maybe there are new chips to be used for "Girlfriend on Demand". That's the new killer app, inspired by The Matrix Unloaded. Girls can go in for surgery and get some type of programmable chip installed. Then their boyfriends can order up certain features, which triggers the ImClone gene alteration mechanism, and morphs her into your favorite "outfit" or "style". "Please order me up a strawberry blonde wearing a cheerleader outfit". But these modifications will cost you plenty money. Better go Riverboat ICGE for a 98% daily gain. Yet another home run hit by some HedgeHog manager. Stocks making 50%+ daily moves are becoming commonplace. I couldn't even get the HeatMap going this morning. Too many Riverboaters clogging up the server. Servers getting clogged everywhere. Clearstation slow, LiveCharts slow, online brokerage firms slow. Everyone wants in on the current meltup. wndysrf
Program Robots are turning the stock market into a commodities futures pit. Where will the stock market go next? Nobody knows. It's hardly predictable at this point. Check out the yearly chart on Wheat. You are now looking at the future direction of the Nasdaq.

Well this looks like a gift for the bears.......Should take the market down with it...... "The SEC is seeking information relating to revenue recognition in 2000 and 2001 primarily concerning certain types of customer transactions. IBM believes that the investigation arises from a separate investigation by the SEC of a customer of IBM's Retail Store Solutions unit. This unit markets and sells point-of-sale products" IBM Reports SEC Investigation

Stoolander
Lets look around and see how many shooting stars or bearish engulfings we can find. Focus on PileDriver's Turd List. I'll start first: Shooting Star: LRCX Bearish Engulfing: AMKR These aren't PD stocks but ... Outside - Bearish Engulfing type candles on INTC, IBM, NDX, QQQ, SOX VIX had an outside day but closed mid-range, spinning top-like. VXN didn't make a new low but certainly made a new high, bullish engulfing.
Stoolander
Maybe, just maybe this will get the bulls attention.
