Lock Limit Down
Hysterical jamming of the futures as they just took it from spoos 1105 to 1107.25 in SECONDS. That combined with a +1114 tick again says that trading the futures in this environment is financial suicide.

soup
locked: yep the 1100 tick is not an accident. The fact is the if the mkt goes down greenspew is ruined. Think like a meglamaniac

scottcardiff
Don't forget you also had a "I'll never sell my stocks, I'm a long term holder" mentality at the top. That thought process is no where near the case now. It is in real estate however.
soup
someday it all fails, the house of cards that greenspew built comes crumbling down. Not an engineer, but the house is only as strong as the foundation, and when one is burning the walls to keep the house warm, well it ads a little stress,
soup
Scott: Not so sure. Most did not sell during the bear and basically feel if they hold tight it is all good. Somehow, I just can not give up on the idea that the majority is going to come thru this thing unscathed. I am sure I am wrong.

mjkst27
Mark's call on PAL turned out to be right on target. Definitely, nice call Mark, I picked up a few shares myself after seeing that chart. DROOPY is now through that down trend line. I would expect it to double back and kiss that line (around 3.12 or so?) before launching. If/when it does backkiss, I'm loading the truck again. (Dow Jones)--AVI BioPharma Inc.(NASDAQ-NMS:AVII) (AVII) reported its antisense drug AVI-4020 demonstrated a safety profile consistent with the other Neugene antisense drugs in a West Nile virus clinical trial. Guest Icky Twerp
Federal investigators increased to 81 the number of cattle now roaming the U.S. that may have been exposed to mad-cow disease, Tuesday's Wall Street Journal reported. Yet even the 81 figure isn't complete. Many of these cattle presumably have given birth since entering the U.S., at least some of which came in a group thought to include the Washington state Holstein that was found last week to have been infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy, otherwise known as BSE, or mad-cow disease. Previously, federal investigators said 73 dairy cattle had come into the U.S. in August 2001 from the same herd in Canada's Alberta provence that is thought to have been the original home of the infected Holstein. U.S. Estimates Mad-Cow Exposure at
